Wow memory leak. Restarting sometimes fixes it, often doesn’t.
Wow memory leak. I’ve had this memory spike happen after a while of just sitting at the character select screen, never logging in. It seems to start in areas where multiple players are amassed and especially when multiple animations are going (raids, cities) I find other Jun 5, 2024 ยท Hello Blizzard Team and Community, I am writing to bring attention to a critical memory leak issue in World of Warcraft that has been affecting my gameplay for over two years. I can’t play more than 1/2 hour before the game has eaten up all 32 GB of RAM on my machine and crashes with an out of memory error. Yesterday I had an update for wow, since then the game is using around 6GB worth of ram at all times and spiking upward enough to crash the game randomly. The first thing to try is disable ALL addons. Most of my guild seems to not be experiencing this issue and was making me feel like it was just a ‘me’ issue.
